Closer to Nature: Organic Gardening on Campus

Instructor Pınar İpek from the Department of International Relations grew tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum peppers, parsley and roquette last year. She then dried the peppers and grew new plants from the seeds. "This is the most relaxing activity at Bilkent," she said.

New and experienced gardeners alike are welcome to join the program. For more information on how to reserve your garden space, you can contact the Environmental Planning Management Unit at ext. 2257-2258.

This spring, why not create your own bit of nature with your own garden?

Pınar Kefeli (COMD/III)
