 The
Management and Economics Club (MEC) offers various activities for
Bilkenters. As you may remember from previous issues of the Bilkent News,
the club held its "MEC Business Seminars" program at the Büyük Abant
Otel last November. This semester, MEC has scheduled another such
program, which will give students the opportunity to attend
presentations by successful business executives and help them plan their
futures by making them better acquainted with the contemporary business
world.
The upcoming MEC
Business Seminars program will be held at the Büyük Abant Otel on April
7-9. The fee for the event is 150YTL. The program will include the
following speakers: Ömer Sabancı (President, TÜSİAD), Atilla Tüfekçi
(General Manager, Philips Türkiye), Marco Pratano (Senior Marketing
Executive, Nurture Co.), Ebru Ural Özkan (HR Manager, Meteksan), Dilek
Tokay (Bireysel ve Akademik Gelişim Merkezi), Necmi Kavuşturan (HR
Manager, Zorlu), Özlem Gören (Partner, Deloitte Audit), Mehmet Can
Karaba (General Manager, Karsan Otomotiv), Serdar Erener (Deloitte Audit),
Yılmaz Yıldız (Assistant General Manager, Garanti Sigorta Satış ve
Pazarlama) and Alpaslan Üzmez (Logistics Manager, Unilever).
