First Step to Finding a Job:
CV Database Project 2006 for Senior Students

Your CV will have an important effect on your working life. The Career Development and Placement Center (CDPC/KAYİYEM) is offering all senior students the opportunity to have their CVs made available to the business world. This will be done through the center's CV Database Project 2006, which has two major elements:

1) Making graduates' CVs available to the outside world through the university website;
2) Publishing CVs in the form of a book, to be sent to leading institutions and companies in Turkey.

To take advantage of this service, seniors can go to http://cv.bilkent.edu.tr, enter their online registration (STARS) password, and enter all pertinent information according to the instructions. The CV data entry period starts on October 31 and ends on December 7. There are two different CV submission procedures:

1. By appointment. You can make an appointment with KAYİYEM for November 17-30 through the system (http://cv.bilkent.edu.tr). At your appointment, you will submit your English and Turkish CV printouts, with two photographs, to KAYİYEM.
2. At the computer lab. KAYİYEM will collect CVs on December 5-6 and 7, in Lab 5, G Building (Vocational School of Computer Technology and Office Management).

To avoid spending time waiting in line at the lab on those days, it is highly recommended that you submit your CV by appointment. For more information, please visit http://cv.bilkent.edu.tr and click on "Student Tasks" to see the CV submission information. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
