 The
Bilkent Havacılık Kulübü (Bilkent Aviation Club), also known as Bilhavk,
took part in a paragliding festival held in Kaş October 29-31. With
members from various university clubs and associations in attendance,
the event attracted a total of nearly 50 students. The Bilhavk members
at the fest included both undergraduate and graduate students who have
received training in paragliding through the club.
Although the weather conditions were sometimes not
suitable for paragliding, the spirit of the festival was not affected.
Everyone still enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, as well as the good
flights that occurred when the weather permitted. Participants made use
of the occasional rainy spells to meet new people from all over Turkey.
All in all, the Kaş Fest was an excellent opportunity for Bilhavk
members to network with other aviation associations as well as to
improve their paragliding skills.
