Exercise and Sports = Healthy Lifestyle!

It is well known throughout the world that all kinds of sports contribute to one’s health and overall well-being. You may be a fanatic exerciser or you might be a beginner. Whatever your fitness and level and sports needs, you will find resources at the Physical Education and Sports Center.

Let’s briefly examine the benefits of exercise. It is well known that there are more than one hundred reasons to participate in exercise and sports programs. Since we cannot list them all here, let’s summarize some of the most important benefits:

  • Exercise and sports can improve one’s physical fitness level,

  • Exercise and sports can improve one’s social skills,

  • Exercise and sports can improve one’s athletic performance,

  • Exercise and sports can help to control one’s body weight and blood pressure,

  • Exercise and sports can help one to manage stress better,

  • Exercise and sports relieve boredom and can provide opportunities to have fun and good times with friends,

  • Finally, exercise and sports can improve one’s overall quality of life.

So, we would like to invite our students to become involved in our extensive sports and exercise programs. Registration continues for all programs at the Student Dormitories Sports Hall, Main Sports Hall and East Sports Hall. Please come and use your sports facilities and let fitness add life to your years, not just years to your life!
