New Sports Trends: Orienteering

Stressed out from the crowded and busy city life? Try orienteering, the sport where competitors have to find their way through an area (usually in the woods) using only a map and a compass. To make it even more challenging, you have to stop at certain checkpoints marked on the map, and try to make it to the finish line the fastest. This is an excellent sport since you are able to enjoy nature, exercise your body and challenge your mind. Interested? The Bilkent Physical Education and Sports Center is hosting a special orienteering event between March 31st and April 28th that's open to all students and faculty members. The complete details are listed below, but if you have any more questions, call ext. 1993.
