Bilkent Students in Turkish
Universities Fencing Championship
From
May 1-3, the Universities Fencing Championship was held at Celal Bayar University with the
participation of 28 universities. In the final standings, Bilkent students Mina Öztürk
(COMD) ranked second in the épée category and Seyfi Kerem Yıldırım (BUSEL) ranked
second in the foil category, under the supervision of coach Halim Şener.
In August 2007, some of the awarded students may have the chance to represent Turkey in
the Universiade Summer Olympics in Bangkok.
