Mardin “Unlock the Doors” Project: Will you Help Them?

The Mardin "Unlock the Doors!" Project was founded in the spring of 2007 by a group of Bilkent MBA students to aid youth in Mardin in order to create sustainable work experiences for YEM (Young Entrepreneurs of Mardin) through education and networking.

YEM was formed in November 2006 by ten Mardin youth as a result of a World Bank-sponsored project Fall 2005. The goal of the cooperative is to introduce Mardin to tourists by developing sustainable businesses that can provide employment for underprivileged youth and encourage racial diversity and cooperation in the region.
Currently, YEM is looking to open their own office but they first need some supplies to help them settle in and start work. Their needs are as follows:

8 laptops or PC's (looking for your second hand PC/laptop donations...)
Fax machine
Copy machine
White board and bulletin board

Any kind of small office supplies like folders, tape, staplers, paper punches, self-stick notes, papers, pen and pencils, …

Would you like to make a contribution and help them open the doors of their office? If so, you can put your small office supplies donations in the box in the MBA lounge in the Faculty of Business Administration. And, for more details or information regarding your other donations, contact Övgü Kalem via email or phone.
e-mail: kalem@bilkent.edu.tr
Phone: (535) 460-8265
The project team looks forward to seeing you join them in their project to unlock doors...
