The Bilkent University International Center organized the first End of Semester Picnic for
international faculty members on May 12, 2007 on the Main Campus lawn area.
The event was a great success as more than 100 international faculty members spent an
enjoyable afternoon with their families and friends. Berna Örge, the coordinator of the
International Center, said that there are plans to make the picnic an annual event. Ms.
Örge also added that she would like to see more and more international faculty members
participate in future social events and activities organized by the International Center.
