The recent partnerships between the Library and a number of academic units are likely to generate further innovative services from the Library. Cecilia Lowe from the Faculty Academic English Program of BUSEL (Bilkent University School of English Language) is assisting the Library with the training of librarians in teaching, learning and communication skills. Librarians, faculty librarians in particular, are increasingly involved in teaching students how to access and use information resources relevant to their research. These training programs for students will normally be organized as a result of collaboration between the librarians and the faculty.

Other examples of partnerships between the Library and the faculty are a recent seminar on marketing by Prof. Güliz Ger and a future seminar by Prof. Sahir Cörtoğlu on copyright for library staff. We are looking forward to other partnerships, which will generate mutual benefits for the faculties and the Library and ultimately result in a higher quality educational experience for Bilkent students.
