Bilkent Team Performs Well in Unilever Competition

unilever The Seventh Unilever IdeaTrophy Contest took place between March 27 and 29. As always, the competition is a chance for students to apply skills they have learned in areas such as marketing and promotion.
Every year, a leading Unilever brand is selected as the sole focus of the contest. The annual event started in 2001 with Omo, continued with Algida in 2002, Lipton Ice Tea in 2003, Dove in 2004, Knorr Çabukunilever Çorba in 2005, and Lipton in 2006. In 2007, Unilever added a new element to the competition: Customer Development.

This year, Ideagens, a team made up of Bilkent students Cansu Zorluer (IE/IV), Başak Pehlivan (IE/IV) and Mehmet Uçkan (CHEM/III), claimed second prize in the challenge.
