On Wednesday, April 9, a ceremony was held in the tourism building banquet room on east campus for students who successfully completed the School of Applied Technology and Management's "Principles of Accounting" course. This course is supported by Link Solar System Accounting Program software.
Twenty-five students from the Tourism and Hotel Management department and 16 students from the Business Information Management department received certificates.
Those Fall Semester 2007 students who achieved a minimum "C" grade - both in the software application and overall course content - were awarded a "Certificate of Recognition", and students who achieved an "A" grade were awarded a "Distinction".
Mr. Kamer Rodoplu, Director of the School of Applied Technology and Management, attended the event to award certificates and to celebrate with the successful students, and the instructors who taught the course: Ms. Hacer Çınar, Ms. Zeliha İlhan Ertuna and Ms. Selda Sevin.
