For 2008, the Department of Computer Technology and Information Systems (CTIS) has developed a new process for their yearly Senior Projects Poster Days.
On April 29 and 30, twenty three teams of senior students, roughly 90 students in total, presented their software projects to the public. This included first through third year students, visitors from the software industry and all interested Bilkenters.
One week after project demonstrations, teams will have a chance to get feedback for the final product that will be submitted on May 16. Moreover, the evaluation of the posters will play an important role in deciding who will take the CTIS System Development Award 2008.
Seven months of hard effort on the development of high-quality software projects were recognized by guests from the Turkish software industry. Almost one quarter of the projects were supervised by related companies.
