All
students, faculty, administrative staff and family members are invited to participate in
the "Republic Run 2007," Saturday, October 20. It starts from
the East Campus Sports Hall, at 11 a.m. The course follows the road to
the lake, past the FMPA and ends at the Main Sports Hall. Children 10 and under will start
at the FMPA at 10:30 a.m. and follow the same route.
Runners will be organized into the following groups: age 10 and under; 11-15; 16-24;
25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55 and over. Trophies will be presented to the first three finishers
in each category (students; personnel; spouses and children; graduates and guests from
outside). All runners will receive a Bilkent t-shirt.
Transportation will be provided from the Main Campus Sports Hall to the East Campus Sports
Hall, with buses leaving from the Main Campus Sports Hall at 10:30 a.m.
Registration will take place at the Main Sports Hall and the Student Dormitories Sports
