The
Physical Education and Sports Center is organizing Bilkent's traditional fitness
challenge! " Fitness Challenge 2007" will run for six weeks, from October
22 to December 2, and will be held at the Student Dormitories
Sports Hall. It is open to all students and academic staff.
Fitness activities will include:
.
cycling (30 minutes)
. rowing
(30 minutes)
.
stepper (15 minutes) and cycling (15 minutes) together
.
cross trainer (30 minutes)
.
running on a treadmill (30 minutes)
.
one set of strength training station exercises
.
one step aerobics session
Participants can do, at most, two different activities in one day will get 5 points for
each activity, and are to work out at least two times, and at most five times a week.
Those who have accumulated 120 points or more by the end of the challenge will receive
special t-shirts. The three male and three female participants with the most points will
receive medals. All who get involved will have a chance to win special gifts at the end of
the challenge.
"Fitness Challenge 2007" will be held in the Student Dormitories Sports Hall.
Registration starts October 8 and continues until October 21,
