The School of Applied Technology Management, and the Tourism and Hotel Management
Departments are proud to offer a "Principles of Accounting" course, supported by
Link Solar System Accounting Program software.
Fall Semester 2006 freshman students who achieved a minimum "C" grade-both in
the software application and overall course content-were awarded a "Certificate of
Recognition", with "Distinction" for students who earned a high grade.
Students from THM, BIM, LAW, CTIS and CAD Departments, who took the course in the 2007
spring semester or during summer school, received their certificates during a ceremony
held Wednesday, October 3 in the Tourism Building banquet room on East Campus.
Instructors who taught the "Principles of Accounting" course; Ms. Hacer Çınar,
Dr. Z. İlhan Ertuna and Ms. Selda Sevin, joined the event to personally hand out
certificates to deserving students and to celebrate their successes.
