 The
Bilkent University Modern Dance Club was established in 2004, and has been growing since
day one! The club provides comprehensive classes for its members, with a whole list of
dance and music styles to choose from. Not to mention, they are led by one of the most
successful choreographers in Turkey - Galip Emre. Club members can join the "Latin
Dances" classes, which have been part of the Bilkent University Modern Dance Club
since 2006.
Hip-Hop and Funk classes will take place in the East Sports Hall on Tuesdays; Latin
classes will be in the Main Sports Hall on Wednesdays; and new dance shows and dance
nights will be planned throughout the the year. These events can be a very enjoyable break
from your studies, and a terrific way to connect with fellow dancing Bilkenters. Become a
member, and you are free to take part in all of the fun.
