Get Ready for the Experience of a Lifetime!

mt.jpg (11075 bytes)The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is a well known, non-profit organization that has provided internship experience abroad, as well as cultural enrichment, since 1948. During their internship, IAESTE trainees receive insurance, and a cost of living to cover food, accommodation and travel to and from work.

Sophomore and Junior engineering, science, applied arts and other students (visit www.iaeste.org for complete listing), with a CGPA of 2.00 or higher, and a good knowledge of foreign languages, are eligible to apply. Students must take written and oral tests in one or more languages. In the final decision making process, the weight of the language test results will be 40 percent, CGPA will be 30 percent, and the remaining 30 percent will be calculated based on a students' activeness in the IAESTE Representative Club. In order to help with this final percentage, you are welcome to work for IAESTE and become a member of MT (Mühendislik Topluluğu), the representative of IAESTE at Bilkent University.
