 The Urban Design and Landscape Architecture (LAUD) Basic Design Studio has organized a one-day workshop in collaboration with KAPLA Turkey. LAUD students will have the chance to experiment with special wooden blocks that have been used in art, design and architecture education in Japan, the United States, Germany and France. The goal is to try the blocks out to see if they are suitable for use in the LAUD Basic Design education curriculum.
Although the actual use of the blocks is only open to LAUD, FA 101 students, all interested Bilkenters are welcome to observe the activities in the FADA Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, December 2. To find out more, contact Assist. Prof. Cihangir Ýstek (LAUD) at istek@bikent.edu.tr.
