The 6th AYVA Cup Basketball Tournament is Under Way

ayvaThe 6th Annual Intramural AYVA Cup Inter University Basketball Tournament kicked off at METU on November 25, with the METU and Bilkent University women's and men's basketball teams playing their first games on November 28.

The Bilkent University women's team won their first game against METU with a final score of 73 to 66. On the other hand, despite an impressive performance, the men's team lost to METU, 58 to 67.

More exciting hoop action is coming soon! Students, faculty members and staff are encouraged to head to the games, show your school spirit and support the teams. The competition schedule will be published in Bilkent News, and be e-mailed to all students and personnel. You can also call ext. 1993 or 1325, or email at spor@bilkent.edu.tr.
