From the Gallery of My Mind

I happened to come across a new play during the break called "Love is Everywhere". I had not read about it before I went and did not know what the play was about. I simply assumed that it is one of those old romantic comedies that make me laugh. I will not say I was wrong with my assumption but I admit that I underestimated the show. I went with my family and friends, a classic way to spend a night, and we waited for the play to begin. And, there it was, one of the funniest performances I have seen in years. The actors where very talented and the play itself was excellently written. The roles were played by famous people I see everyday on TV: Emre Kınay, Ayçin İnci, Sait Genay, Bahar Yanılmaz and Cem Yanılmaz.

Emre Kınay's performance, in particular, was unbelievable. He can reflect his emotions to the audience so well and drag the viewer right into the story. Ayçin İnci was also incredible. The décor and setting was impressive as well. The way the stage was used was very professional and well planned. It is obvious that a lot of effort was put into this play and I have to admit that it was worth it. I had such a great time that after I left the theater I was still smiling to myself for a while.

Unfortunately the play was only in Ankara for three days and it is over now, but I believe it is still being shown in Istanbul. I advise anyone who wants to have a laugh to go to this play if they find it somewhere. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the break.

I fare you well until next time…
