Still Time To Register for New Program: Body Attack

The Physical Education and Sports Center has launched a series of exercise classes, supervised by Fitness/ Aerobic Coordinator Ahsen Küçükdurmaz. These classes provide participants with an opportunity to become more active in a safe, effective and enjoyable way. One of the courses being offered is “Body Attack.”

Body Attack is a group exercise set to music. It is a high-energy activity perfect for developing cardiovascular fitness, and conditioning the upper and lower body, suitable for anyone with a moderate fitness level.

There are many benefits to Body Attack. It allows one to:

  • Burn calories
  • Tone and shape
  • Raise overall fitness and stamina 
  • Improve co-ordination and agility
  • Develop strength through core conditioning     
  • Increase heart and lung capacity with a full-body cardio workout 

When taking part, make sure you have a good pair of shoes, dress in comfortable clothes and bring a towel and water bottle.

Body Attack courses will be held Tuesday and Thursday from 5:50 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. at the Student Dormitories Sports Hall. To find out more about Body Attack, visit www.lesmills.com
