 WiE (Women in Engineering) is a non-profit organization that supports women in business and science. A sub-organization of IEEE, the group aims to break down prejudice concerning women in engineering and help them in their professional lives.
The WiE group, part of Bilkent's IEEE Student Branch, has organized a series of seminars to be held in coordination with International Women's Day on March 8. They have been designed to show that the statement "A woman can't be successful in business or science" is false, emphasizing the success that women have achieved in their fields.
The Bilkent IEEE Student Branch invites all Bilkenters to the seminars listed below.
