 On April 4, Bilkent's American football team, the Judges, and a group from the Bilkent Judges Club, went to İstanbul for an away game against Bilgi University's Hunters. The night before the game, the club members and team players had a fun filled dinner before staying at a hotel booked by the club. The game was played April 5 with the Judges defeating the Bilgi Hunters, 24 to 10, which promoted them to the semi-finals . The team and supporters celebrated the victory before heading back to Ankara.
The celebrations will continue at the Red Alert Party on April 17, co-ordinated by Radio Bilkent and the Student Council. The semi-finals will be held April 18 and 19 against the METU Falcons. All Bilkent students and staff are invited to support the team on their home turf. The Judges also have plans for Spring fest. May 9 will be the date for the annual "All-Star" game, organized by the Judges Club. Past and present Judges players will battle each other on the field, and there will be a few surprises along the way.
