 IDF Bilkent Primary School considers the development of critical thinking as one of their crucial targets. As part of this mission, they presented the 3rd Spring Symposium on Saturday, April 4. Well-known academics, Prof. Dr. Sedat Sever and Children and Mental Health specialist Prof. Dr. Fatih Ünal, were the honored guests. Teachers from all across Turkey attended the event.
In total, there were thirty-nine, 45-minute presentations. Prof. Dr. Ünal discussed the developmental evaluation of extraordinary types of behavior in children, and the hot topic of hyperactivity, while Prof. Dr. Sever, gave a well received speech on "The Awareness of Democratic Culture and the Important Place of Literature in a Child's Life."
