All students, faculty, administrative staff and family members are invited to participate in the "Republic Run 2008," Saturday, October 25. It starts in front of East Campus Lake, at 11 a.m. and continues to the East Campus Dormitories, the Music Faculty, to the Main Campus Dormitories, and to the Main Sports Hall. Children 10 and under will start at the Junction of the Music Faculty at 10:30 a.m. and follow the remainder of the same route.

Runners will be organized into the following groups: age 10 and under; 11-15; 16-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55 and over. Trophies will be presented to the first three finishers in each category (students; personnel; spouses and children; graduates and guests from outside). All runners will receive a Bilkent t-shirt.

Transportation will be provided from the Main Campus Sports Hall to the East Campus, with buses leaving from the Main Campus Sports Hall at 10:30 a.m.

Registration will take place at the Main Sports Hall, the Student Dormitories Sports Halls and the East Sports Hall. Call the Sports Center at ext. 1993 or 1325 for more information on this fun and fantastic event for the whole family!
