What better way to welcome new erasmus and exchange students than by taking them on a trip to a beautiful, snow-covered Cappadoccia? Same as every year before, ESN Bilkent and 80 foreign students spent last weekend hiking in the Ihlara Valley, having snowball fights, riding on camels, freezing a little in a stylish cave hostel and enjoying a legendary Turkish night with bellydancers and dervishes included.
This two-day trip was the fourth official excursion Bilkent organized after joining the large web of the Erasmus Student Network in 2009. ESN also helps with weekly activities and smaller trips to other sites in Turkey. Each semester Bilkent receives more foreign students than previous semesters, which only means one thing: ESN will keep its position as one of the most active student organizations at Bilkent, and this is only the beginning.
