 Bilkenters' votes in “Ad Awards 2009” has been finalized. The award ceremony will take place at the Mithat Çoruh Auditorium on Tuesday, March 16, at noon.
The Marketing and Advertising Club (MAD) organized an online survey open to all students at Bilkent. The “Ad Awards 2009” (Reklam Ödülleri 2009) project is actually a market research effort that aims to understand what type of television commercials peaked Bilkenters' interest in 2009.
Ozan Güven, star of the winning 3G commercial, and representatives of the winning companies will be attending the awards ceremony.
After each candidate commercial is viewed by category, prizes will be distributed. The winning commercial will then be shown one more time. Ozan Güven will then open the floor for discussion with Bilkent students.
The 2009 MAD Awards was made possible by contributions from the Bilkent University Student Council. The Marketing and Advertising Club has been distributing the best commercial prizes since 2008.
