The National Interuniversity Ice Hockey Championship was held in Erzurum between March 17 and 21 with participation from METU, Bilkent, Ankara, Kocaeli, Gazi and Atatürk Universities' Men and Women's teams. These games were also the preparation games to the 2011 World Interuniversity Winter Games. Bilkent Men's team competed well in the championship, but they didn't rank in the top winners. The women's team came in 4th.
