 Hüsrev Aksüt (IE/V) took first place among 47 from around the country at the 5th National Hacettepe Go Tournament held on 27-28 March at Hacettepe University. Aksüt, also the winner of the last National Go Tournament held by the Turkish Go Association, achieved a winning streak of six out of six games.
Go is an oriental strategic board game which originated more than 4,000 years ago. It combines beauty and intellectual challenge, appealing to many kinds of minds - from musicians and artists to mathematicians, engineers, options traders and philosophers.
