Bilkent University tennis teams successfully competed in the Inter-University Championship held at the Gökhan Dönmez Tennis Academy in Antalya between the 28th of March and 5th of April.
In the women's league 24 universities competed with the Bilkent University Women's team ranking first in their group. Consequently, the Bilkent Women's team will have the opportunity to play in the first division next year.
In the men's league 30 universities participated, with the Bilkent University Men's team ranking third in their group. The Bilkent Men's team will then move on to the second division and compete in it next year.
“I am happy with both teams’ performance,” said Dr. Alper Uğraş, Assistant Director of the Physical Education Unit. “I'm sure that in the coming years our students will be much more successful.”
