Mayor of Çankaya Municipality Bülent Tanık visited Bilkent University on April 19 to meet with industrial engineering students for a discussion on engineering and urban administration.
The Department of Industrial Engineering organized the seminar, with the help of Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, who coordinated the event.
Prof. Sabuncuoğlu introduced the guest speaker, stating that Mr.
Tanık had received his undergraduate degree in Urban and Environmental Planning and had been invited to discuss his topic from the viewpoint of a professional industrial engineer.
After his talk, while visiting Rector Prof. Abdullah Atalar, Mr. Tanık also met with student visitors from Atatürk Anatolian High School.
