Opinions

nazlý çelebiEver since the creation of the most developed creature, the homo sapien, people have been trying to communicate and understand one other. They even tried to communicate with each other with clouds, mountains, animals, the Sun, the Moon and even stars. I was not a believer of astrology, the underestimated science of stars, but when I started to read about it, it did not feel like nonsense, but another path on the road of understanding others.

Astrology should not be perceived as a way of making generalizations about people but as a tool that helps us understand ourselves. We all have different personalities, which leads to different points of view, hopes and dreams, obsessions and certainly our unique behaviors. It is not irrational to think that the people who were born in the same time intervals tend to exhibit the similar behaviors.

When I searched Wikipedia for a decent definition, I discovered that the word astrology comes from the Greek word -astron which means "star" and the word -logia "the study of." Astrology is a group of systems, traditions, and beliefs which hold the relative positions of celestial bodies and related details that provide information about personality, human affairs, and other terrestrial matters, Wikipedia tells me.

When you are reading this you might be thinking that "I am a Gemini, and I do not like to talk at all," but keep in mind that every feature of a sign might not suit you. Still, you can discover things that you do not already know about yourself. Remember, if something works, it deserves a chance.

Astrology has had a significant influence over the past few thousand years. Belief in astrology holds firm today in many parts of the world: in one poll, 31% of Americans expressed their belief in astrology, and according to another study, 39% considered it scientific.

Virgo: Money matters steal the spotlight this month, with investments and business partnerships at the forefront.
Libra: Expect challenges this month as you work to complete old business, but remember that pruning back your tree of life now will encourage healthier growth ahead.
Scorpio: This month you might feel like you're lurking in the shadows and observing carefully before your next move.
Sagittarius: Your fiery personality gets punched up with even more sparkle than usual, letting you take the initiative to bring more love and fun into your life.
Capricorn: Your drive is already intensified and you crave immediate success, but you may face a shortage of time or resources to pull off your ambitious schemes.
Aquarius: Your level of mental activity is heightened this month, giving you plenty of opportunities to share your love of ideas.
Pisces: While you're not the most materialistic person, money is on your mind this month.
