The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture is proud to present the Art Exhibition entitled “Universities talk about Refugees.” The project coordinated by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ankara displays art pieces such as oil paintings, drawings, photographs, posters, ceramics, various installations and banners prepared by students from Bilkent, Başkent, Doğuş, Erciyes, Gazi, Kocaeli, Maltepe, Mersin, Mimar Sinan and Süleyman Demirel Universities. The products express the feelings and values of solidarity and hospitality towards populations in exile. The sufferings of these uprooted populations in the middle of persecution and war are reflected through various means of artistic expression. The exhibit runs in the Bilkent University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture exhibition hall in Main Campus from November 10 to November 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
