EGO Bus to Run from Kızılay to Campus
Beginning on October 25, Ankara Metropolitan Transportation has added a new bus route to its Ankara schedule, from Kızılay to Bilkent. EGO bus number 110 travels between campus and Güvenpark in Kızılay.
The bus originates at a designated bus stop in Güvenpark and stops at the following locations: Kumrular Street, Necatibey Road, 85th Street, 87th Street, İnönü Boulevard, Bilkent Bridge, İhsan Doğramacı Boulevard, and Bilkent University. Bus stop locations on campus are listed below. The bus then returns to Kızılay along the same route and runs in a circuit during the day.
The new route is operated by the City of Ankara and is therefore not free for the Bilkent community. However, this new service will not alter the current free shuttle bus services offered by the University. Members of the Bilkent community riding the EGO bus will still need to show their Bilkent identification to enter campus.
Bilkenters can buy fare cards for the EGO bus at the kiosk across from the Tunus/Sıhhiye bus stops and at Sözeri market.
On weekdays, the bus will leave Güvenpark at the following times:
7:25 a.m.
7:55 a.m.
8:25 a.m.
10:05 a.m.
11:05 a.m.
12:05 p.m.
1:05 p.m.
2:05 p.m.
3:05 p.m.
4:05 p.m.
5:05 p.m.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the bus will leave Güvenpark every two hours until the last bus, which leaves at 5:05 p.m.:
