Dear Editor

A photocopy service desk has opened up inside the infirmary on Main Campus. In as much as convenient photocopying services on campus are desirable, health care and photocopying don't mix on two grounds.

First, the photocopying service creates noise (machine and human); it is essential that health care facilities be quiet and peaceful. Second, it is well documented that photocopy machines generate fumes that cause nausea and headaches in underventilated rooms; it is essential that health care facilities be clean and free of toxins and allergents.

(Dr. Emre Berk, FBA)

Editor's note

A committee on food and cafeteria issues, which will include student representatives, will soon start to work with the Office of the Dean of Students and the Cafeterias Manager.

The results of their work will be announced in the Bilkent News in the coming weeks.

Dear Editor

You know how delaying bores people. Whenever I use the 10 p.m. Tunus Bus, it's delayed. Sometimes time is so valuable and l'd like to know why the bus is so often delayed. (Emre Ocaklı FHL-IV)
