Twenty-two students and university employees squared off in 42 badminton games during an eight-hour period on November 28 during the Main Campus Physical Education and Sport Center's Badminton Tournament, which was held to honor the 75th anniversary of the Republic.
The top three finishers in their respective categories are as follows.
Women's singles: Nurhan Turgut, Aylin Damgacı, and Selin Pekcan.
Men's Singles: Abdullah Mirza, Rzwan Akram, Özkan Çakırlar.
Women's Doubles: Alev Sile and Aylin Damgacı, Akiko Takono and Semra İnanç, and Selin Pekcan and Gizem Alagöz.
Men's Doubles: Abdullah Mirza and Rzwan Akram, Tahsin Tuna and Habib Salkaya, and Fatih Canin and Can Kakullu.
Mixed Doubles: Nurhan Turgut and Özkan Cakırlar, Gizem Alagöz and Abdullah Mirza, and Semra İnanç and Rzwan Akram.
