25 Firms to Offer Jobs, Internships at Career Fair
Twenty-five major firms will attend Bilkent's Career Fair on Friday, March 5, offering students the opportunity to interview for and discuss job openings and internships without leaving campus.

According to the event's organizers, the participating firms are: Academy International, Arthur Andersen, Aselsan, Bayındır Holding, Belconti Resort Hotel, British Council, Coca-Cola Anadolu Region, Devlet Planlama Teşkilatı (State Planning Organization), Eczacıbaşı Holding, Garanti Bank, Garanti Technology, Human Resources Management, Hürriyet İnsan Kaynakları Gazetesi (Human Resources Gazette), İstanbul Hilton, Martı Hotels, Oracle, Oyak Tourism and Travel Agency, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, real Hipermarket Chain, TAI-TUSAŞ, Tepe Grubu, T. İş Bank, Turkish Radio and Television, Yaşar Holding and Yeşim Tekstil.

Career Days '99

"We are expecting a large number of students to visit the Career Fair," said Yıldız Öztürk Balamir, the Coordinator of the Career Development and Placement Center. The organization of the Career Fair, which is part of a larger event, Career Days '99, is handled by KAYIYEM, Human Resources Club, Management and Economy Club, and MBA Club members. "This is a once-a-year opportunity for all of us at Bilkent to get to know more about the business world and job opportunities available for Bilkent graduates," said Sibel Koral, an MBA Club member and MBA graduate student. The Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Main Campus Sports Center.
