The Bilkent Chess Club is currently planning a Bilkent chess tournament in April, an inter-university tournament in April or May, and a chess show for Bilkent's Mayfest. The Club is also organizing tutorial and analysis classes with Jay Bidal.
Everyone interested in helping us with these activities is asked to attend our next meeting, Thursday, March 4, at 6 p.m. in room Z-24 in the Student Union building.
We're particularly interested in recruiting some female players for the Bilkent Chess Club. Unfortunately, we currently do not have any female players and we would like to have a more diverse team. Interested females are encouraged to attend our meetings or e-mail satranc@ug.bcc.bilkent.edu.tr.
