Academic Concert Series to Begin
Bilkent's Academic Concert Series will begin Monday, October 19, with a recital at 9 p.m. in the Bilkent Concert Hall featuring Wim van Zutphen on piano and Ulrike Fromme-Stadler on drums.

The recital will include the following compositions: Crystal Pieces, Opus 38/1 for piano by J. Kretz; the debut performance of a piece for piano and vibraphone by W. Wagner; Abolition for drums by K. Essl; and Glockenspektren for piano and bells by K.A. Hueber.

The series continues Tuesday, October 20, with a 9 p.m. concert in the Concert Hall featuring conductor Rodolfo Bonucci and pianist Gyšrgy Sandor.

The concert will include the following compositions: Dance Macabre , Symphonic Poem, Opus 40, by C. Saint-Saens; E flat Major. Piano Concerto No. 1, and Les Preludes by F. Liszt; L'Apprenti Sorcier by P. Dukas; and La Valse by M. Ravel.
