Healthy Body Healty Mind

Republic Day Run '98

All students, academic and administrative staff and their family members are encouraged to participate in the 75th Anniversary Republic Day Run '98 on Saturday, October 24. Start training now! A special Republic Day Run '98 t-shirt, awards, and door-prizes will be given to the participants. Runners will be organized into age groups as follows: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55 and older.

Please note that those who are 10 and under will start the run at the open tennis courts located in the faculty housing area on the Main Campus. Everyone else will start in front of the East Campus Sports Hall. Transportation will be provided and the last bus will leave the Main Campus Physical Education and Sports Center for East Campus at 10:40 a.m. The race will start at 11 a.m. in front of the East Campus Sports Hall.

Registration for the run is under way now at the Main Campus Physical Education and Sports Center.

Bike Tour

In connection with the Republic Day 75th anniversary ceremonies, the Main Campus Physical Education and Sports Center is organizing a bike tour to Campus on Wednesday, October 21.

This is one way to learn more about this huge campus while celebrating the 75th Anniversary of our Republic in a unique way.

If you don't have a bike and would like to join the tour, the Sports Center staff will get one for you.

To register or for more information, stop by the Physical Education and Sports Center on Main Campus.
