Ready for Flu Shot?
|
Flu shots to reduce the risk of getting Influenza (Grippe) are now offered at Main Campus Health Center (call ext. 1666) for a price of 4,250,000 TL. It is recommended for the following people:
- Age 65 or above.
- Residents of nursery homes and other chronic-care facilities that house persons of any age who have chronic medical conditions,
- Adults and children who have chronic disorders of the pulmonart or cardiovascular systems, including children with asthma,
- Adults and children who require regular mesical follow up or hospitalization because of chronic metabollic diseases (including diabetes mellitus).
- renal-dysfunction
- hemoglobinopathies or
- immunosupression,
- Children and teenagers (ages 6 months to 18 years) who are receiving long-term aspirin therapy.
