New Club Speaks for Children
A new student club has just been established to raise awareness on the challenges faced by children that are forced to work and to provide help to those working as adults. The founders plan to run workshops, hold theatre plays, and discussions on campus to achieve this goal.

'I care for children. They face many difficulties while they are growing up in the world. I think children should experience their childhood, play with their peers, not take as many responsibilities as adults' says Nazife Ýçkin (ELIT-1), one of the founders of the club.

The club invites new members to join their meeting on Monday, November 29 at 5 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Z16. The first workshop of the club will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 1:30 p.m. in C Block Auditorium. Both the meeting and the workshops are open to students and staff who are interested. For more information, call Nazife at ext. 4330 or Burcu at ext. 4333, or e-mail cib@ug.bilkent.edu.tr.
