Assert Your Way to Better Relationships
|
Assertiveness is usually misunderstood. Some people think being assertive means getting your way all the time. Some may think it means being pushy or aggressive in your relations with others. In reality, assertiveness is simply making others aware of your feelings, thoughts, and needs through direct communication. If you want to discuss how we express ourselves and what happens in our relationships as a result, you may want to join our "Assertiveness" workshop.
The registration deadline for the workshop is February 25, at the Student Development and Counseling Center on Main Campus. For further information, call ext. 1785/1786.
