Medya Kulübü was established at the beginning of this academic year by students of the Department of Communications and Design. The club has proved very popular and it currently has twenty-five members from all departments. The club's purpose is to familiarize its members and the community with the media in all its dimensions.

There is no doubt that the media wields a great deal of power over people. The members want to provide information about the roles and influence of the media so they plan to arrange workshops and seminars and to organize panels and discussions with well-known media professionals.
