In response to Robin Turner's letter, Seyit Koçberber, Director of BCC, provided the following response:

Cable television is operated by Türk Telekom. The Construction and Maintenance Unit has applied several times to have cable television service installed in East Campus faculty housing. However, since the number of candidate subscribers is small, Türk Telekom has not found the investment economically feasible.
