 The Management & Economics Club recently organized a one-day trip to Ýstanbul to visit ÝMKB and Arthur Andersen Consulting. Thirty-five students participated with a view to enhancing their knowledge about the business world. At ÝMKB they were given a presentation about the structure of ÝMKB and their market operations in Turkey. At Andersen Consulting, managers explained the workings of the consulting sector and the special functions of each of their departments.

The members are planning to arrange more of these trips so that they can decide which direction they will go in the future. With the help of these contacts, they have a chance to directly communicate with managers from sectors they are considering to work in. Future trips will include visits to Proctor & Gamble, Turkcell, SPK, and Central Bank. They are not to be missed, so come and join us!
