Career Fair Opens Up Doors
|
 On Friday, March 3, Bilkent University's second annual Career Fair concluded successfully, institutions from both the private and public sectors were represented so as to increase the range of choices for students. Some firms will be paying return visits to the campus in order to participate in further panel disctussions, sector information sessions, and interview days.
Over 3000 students had the chance to network with the 25 participating companies. They were quite content with the Career Fair, as it brought them into direct contact with the business world on campus. Many graduating students mentioned that the fair helped them to make the first step into the business world and cleared up many of their questions about their fututre. First-, second-, and third- year students gathered information about and developed impressions of the various firms in addition to securing internship opportunities.
