Bilkent University Library has extended the Vaclav Havel photo exhibition until the end of Thursday, March 30. Those attending the exhibition so far have included Hatay Savaşçı, Ambassador of Turkey to the Czech Republic, and Jozef Braun, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Turkey. Savaşçı was pleased with the idea of the exhibition because he said Mr. Havel is a writer, thinker, humanist, and a stalwart supporter of the ideal of democracy. Jozef Braun commented that this exhibition provides insight into a dramatic part of the history of the Czech Republic and he hopes to bring President Havel to Bilkent in the future.

President Havel was originally scheduled to come to Bilkent last week, but due to health reasons his visit has been postponed.
