Spring Fest is in the Air
Feeling the sun on your face, listening to great music, having fun and relaxing with good friends while the aroma of delicious food wafts by your nose-yes indeed, the most wonderful time of the year, Spring Fest, will soon be upon us.

The annual Bilkent Spring Fest will be held this year from May 10-13. As usual, music will play a central role in the festivities including jazz and Turkish folk music concerts. Examples of the entertainers who may appear include Teoman, Grup Gündoğarken and Şebnem Ferah.

Various university clubs will also be contributing to the array of activities. The Cinema Club will be showing movies on East Campus Green after the concerts, but don't forget to bring your blanket with you! The Theater Club will be performing a play. On the athletic side, the American Football Club will be hosting a game and DOST (Natural Sports Society) will be demonstrating their mountaineering skills. Photography and cartoon exhibitions by the Photography Club and Humor Club will also take place. And of course Radio Bilkent will be there, continuing to provide good music.

Another feature of Spring Fest 2000 is a Pictionary tournament organized by Kulüp Aktif and sponsored by Intertoy. For those interested in browsing, there will be many stands offering books, clothes, and food. Fans of verse will be entertained by a poetry night devoted to the works of Nazım Hikmet. All these activities and more will be waiting for you next week.
